This is the anniversary of the Pulwama attack, one of the deadliest terrorist attacks on Indian soil on February 14, 2019.

On February 14, 2019, a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was attacked in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. A suicide bomber targeted a convoy of 78 vehicle carrying over 2,500 soldiers on Jammu Srinagar National Highway leading to massive explosion. In that horrific moment, 40 brave CRPF jawans lost their lives. They were sons, husbands, fathers and brothers who never returned home. Their families were shattered, their dreams were destroyed, and the nation was left in shock and grief. It was not just an attack on our soldiers; it was an attack on the heart of India.
